Introductory short course for clinical teaching by the Dept. of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne at the Royal Children’s Hospital

There are two components to this workshop:

1. a 1.5hr online introduction via zoom – Online Introduction: Monday 5th May 2025, 7:00pm to 8:30pm Via ZoomEvening online introduction to clinical teaching before in-person workshop.
2.  a one day in-person workshop at RCH – In-person Workshop Day: Saturday 10th May 2025, 9:00am to 02:30pm Tools for teaching on the go, teaching a skill and feedback.

Pre-reading & preparation required before the workshop.

Ideal for any health professional looking to build on clinical teaching skills. No pre-existing teaching expertise or experience is required.

This course will prepare participants for further professional development in clinical education and teaching.

Course Fee: $150 for junior medical staff and allied health, $180 for senior medical staff
