Endocrinology

​​Endocrinology term predominately resident based role in inpatient and outpatient clinic-based experience. Inpatient role takes precedence to provide a consult-based service to support the management of endocrinology patients in the health service. There are X2 consultant ward rounds per week, all other rounds with endocrine advanced trainee. Clinic attendance with registrars and residents, x2 clinics per week.  Develop a close working relationship with senior diabetes nurse educators who attend the multidisciplinary ward round. Unit meetings weekly, x1 presentation in unit meeting per term. Opportunities to assist with dynamic investigations. ​
